We are currently seeking a skilled Automation expert with accounting experience to join us.</p><p>Reporting to the Automation team leader in Bratislava, this position is based in <b>Budapest</b> and serves the Varian SHS Accounting organization. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of accounting and controlling processes.</p><p></p><p>The Accounting Hubs in Bratislava and Budapest are responsible for maintaining high-quality financial records across various areas, including Accounting Governance and Advisory, General Ledger, Closing &amp; Reporting, Fixed Assets / Leasing, Inventories, Revenue Recognition, Accounts Payables and Receivables, and the implementation of new IFRS standards.</p><p></p><p><b>Major Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Drive further automation and robotization of processes, demonstrating a deep understanding of the processes to effectively manage requirements and deliver optimal automation solutions.</li><li>Maintain and enhance existing automations using VBA for Excel and Outlook, as well as VBScript (SAP GUI scripting).</li><li>Analyze processes and actively identify opportunities for improvement and harmonization within the Accounting Hub. Take part in projects connected to process automation.</li><li>Business partner with Varian Accounting colleagues, process owners and internal stakeholders to enhance process performance.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Requirements</b></p><p></p><p>Skills Required:</p><ul><li>Proactive and strong ownership, accepts new challenges, and drives changes.</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset. Challenges the status quo and recommends efficiency opportunities.</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills with VBA or SAP GUI scripting experience.</li><li>Familiarity with the Office 365 environment, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
