Together we can influence the world around us to make life and work better.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Ferring&#43;You </b></span></p><p></p><p>As our Accounting Manager you’ll ensure the integrity, compliance, and excellence of the company’s accounting and financial operations in Brazil, maintaining full alignment with local statutory requirements and global corporate guidelines.</p><p>This role combines strong statutory accounting expertise with a controlling mindset, acting as a reliable partner to the Head of Finance to drive governance, operational efficiency, and high-quality financial insights.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Your day at Ferring</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Lead full monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and sign statutory financial statements.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper accounting records and reporting (A2R process).</p></li><li><p>Guarantee compliance with local accounting standards and global corporate policies.</p></li><li><p>Support system parameterization in accordance with new tax rules.</p></li><li><p>Oversee statutory filings and compliance, including:</p></li><li><p>Accounting obligations (ECD and ECF)</p></li><li><p>Financial regulatory reporting (BACEN)</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation and international corporate standards.</p></li><li><p>Maintain alignment between local statutory reporting and global finance directives.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and implement regulatory and tax updates.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and analyze OPEX and CAPEX.</p></li><li><p>Provide management reporting and financial insights to support decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with global Transfer Pricing policies.</p></li><li><p>Act as Area Controller with strong focus on governance and financial accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Interface closely with our Shared Service Center in Portugal for transactional execution and financial alignment.</p></li><li><p>Act with a strong audit and governance mindset.</p></li><li><p>Ensure effectiveness of Internal Control Systems (ICS).</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with local and global SOPs and internal policies.</p></li><li><p>Drive process improvements and change management initiatives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Behind our innovation…There’s you</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.</p></li><li><p>Active CRC certification (mandatory) with authorization to sign financial statements.</p></li><li><p>Solid experience in statutory accounting and controlling.</p></li><li><p>Strong background in full financial closing processes.</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing internal and external audits.</p></li><li><p>ERP experience (SAP considered a strong advantage and Proteus is a plus).</p></li><li><p>Intermediate to advanced English for interaction with global stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Strong governance and compliance orientation.</p></li><li><p>High level of accountability and ownership.</p></li><li><p>Collaborative approach in a matrix environment.</p></li><li><p>Proactive and solution-oriented.</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate in a dynamic and transforming environment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>People come first at Ferring</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Get inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone’s right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you love</p></li><li><p>Our inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role.
