As a key member of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Ascendis Pharma&nbsp;team, you will play a crucial role in&nbsp;end-to-end accounting and payment processes, with a strong focus on vendor accounting, expense management, and period-end closing activities across multiple European entities. You play a key role in ensuring&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;financial records,&nbsp;timely&nbsp;payments, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards&nbsp;</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment,&nbsp;collaborate&nbsp;with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.&nbsp;</p><p>You&nbsp;will be joining the&nbsp;P2P team in Global Finance.&nbsp;You will report directly to Frederik Dalby Andersen, P2P Manager who is based in Hellerup.&nbsp;You will also be based in Hellerup.&nbsp;</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities will be:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Manage end-to-end P2P accounting process&nbsp;</li><li>Perform month closing and year-end closing activities&nbsp;</li><li>Support VAT compliance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams.&nbsp;</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>You hold a relevant academic degree&nbsp;within accounting or finance, and you have&nbsp;+5&nbsp;years of experience in accounting and finance operations within an international environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Furthermore,&nbsp;<strong>you have:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Strong experience with vendor accounting, payment processes, expense management, and period-end closing&nbsp;</li><li>Solid understanding of VAT compliance and statistical reporting across multiple EU&nbsp;jurisdictions&nbsp;</li><li>Strong systems knowledge, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations; experience with&nbsp;ExFlow&nbsp;and expense management tools is an advantage&nbsp;</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions and geographies&nbsp;</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Key competencies:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>You are&nbsp;a strong team&nbsp;player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>You&nbsp;possess&nbsp;an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be able to&nbsp;work independently, structured, and systematically with complex data and tight deadlines&nbsp;</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Travel:&nbsp;</strong>5-10&nbsp;days&nbsp;per year.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Office:&nbsp;</strong>Tuborg Boulevard&nbsp;12, 2900 Hellerup&nbsp;</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Apply now.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>We evaluate applications when received, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
