Description

- Perform monthly financial reporting, budgeting and planning - Maintain monthly financial statements & reconciliation of accounts with external accountants - Be the primary point of contact for our external accountants - Manage accounts payable /receivable and setup payments / invoices for approval - Oversee the accounting entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately - Implement project-based accounting & manage ongoing reporting - Support public funding submissions and ongoing monitoring requirements - Support research tax credit requirements & other tax rebate programs with external accountants - Assist with expenses, payroll records etc. as requested

Requirements

- Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices in France - Experience with local public funding agencies and grant applications and required subsequent reporting (Potential experience in EU related funding opportunities is a bonus) - Experience with French administrative and social treatments - Resourceful, with excellent attention to detail, organizing abilities & analytical acumen - Bilingual – French & English - Legally entitled to work in France - Degree in accounting with 5+ years of relevant work experience (medical device industry a bonus) - Excellent knowledge of MS office - Experience with Research tax credits and French innovation tax treatment
