Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical to expanding Bio-Me’s customer base and supporting existing clients across key sectors, including product development, clinical research, and R&D. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales or account management within the life sciences or biotech sectors. You’ll need to be proactive, adaptable, and ready to represent a transformative technology that is reshaping microbiome research and applications. This position will report to the Head of Commercial and work closely with the commercial team to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships. Duties include managing relationships with existing customers, executing targeted sales campaigns, presenting solutions to prospective clients, arranging customer meetings, representing Bio-Me at industry events, and sharing market insights with the commercial team.
Requirements
4-8 years of proven sales success in life sciences, biotech, or microbiome-relevant markets; established connections with customers in skin health, women’s health, nutrition, or related microbiome fields; strong understanding of molecular diagnostics; proficiency in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, bid preparation, and CRM tools; exceptional communication skills; demonstrated ability to manage a territory independently; willingness to travel internationally; fluency in English (spoken and written). Preferred: Experience in women’s health, skin microbiome, nutrition, or therapeutic R&D; marketing experience or familiarity with branding strategies.
