Description

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth from new and existing customers within an assigned territory across multiple scientific product lines. This position serves as the primary point of contact for research laboratories — understanding technical requirements, recommending solutions, and building long-term professional relationships based on trust and respect. You will collaborate closely with international manufacturers and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of laboratory equipment. Structured sales training and coaching are provided to support professional development and long-term growth within the company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent. Hands-on wet lab experience in research laboratories (beyond teaching labs). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver’s license. Willingness and ability to conduct domestic and international travel, including overnight travel. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Willingness to learn complex technical product lines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Sales experience, Japanese–English bilingual proficiency.
