3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

Performs preventative maintenance, such as changing fluids, replacing filters, adjusting tension, clean intakes and cold-air returns, etc. May operate snow removal and/or grounds keeping equipment.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Education/Experience</b><br /> High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum<br /> Two or more years experience operating and/or repairing machine shop equipment (CNC lathes, Grinders, Mills, etc.)<br /> Experience with PLC’s, Fanuc and Mitsubishi Controllers<br /> Strong electro mechanical, robotic controls background preferred<br /><b>Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies</b><br /> Ability to lift 125 pounds with assistance<br /> Exceptional ability to solve problems and apply problem solving logic in an efficient manner<br /> Must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly evaluate problems and generate solutions<br /> Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner<br /> Must be able to take direction and have the ability to effectively work with people<br /> Must be available for all shifts and be on call as required<br /> Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting<br /><b>Responsibility/Authority</b><br /> Repairs and maintains all plant equipment<br /> Assists in prioritizing daily work schedules in conjunction with the Facility Engineer and Operations team<br /> Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner<br /> Coordinates with plant personnel, minimizing down time for repairs<br /> Performs Facility Maintenance to include the proper upkeep of the facility and grounds<br /> Performs research and orders spare parts to expedite machine repair and keep costs under control<br /> As required provides training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
