Description

The 2nd Shift Lead will oversee daily operations in the Tool & Die CNC Machine Shop to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met. This hands-on leadership role involves coordinating team activities, setting priorities, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a productive workflow across machining, grinding, and toolmaking areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, tool and die making, or precision manufacturing. 2+ years of leadership or lead experience in a machining environment. Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, G&M code, tooling setup, and blueprint reading. Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpret GD&T. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
