These activities are essential to ensuring compliant manufacturing operations and documenting any discrepancies that may occur. </div><div>Our work requires strong project management skills, as we handle multiple tasks concurrently, each with varying timelines and due dates. The team collaborates extensively across all site departments and interfaces with other sites throughout the Takeda network. </div><div>By overseeing deviations and change controls, we play a critical role in maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. </div><div> How You Will Contribute: </div><div>As a Manufacturing Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to </div><div><ul><li>Assist Compliance Investigators with manufacturing investigations </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Serve as a support administrator to assist manufacturing investigations and/or audits including various documentation management activities (Scan, print, trend review, document review) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Schedule meetings and coordinate actions to assist manufacturing investigations and audit preparation to ensure timely progress and completion </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Serve as a meeting Scribe to collect notes and actions during manufacturing investigation meetings </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Internship Development Opportunities: </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Learn the formal deviation investigation process, including root cause analysis </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Become Yellow belt certified </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Learn and understand the basis for injectable pharmaceutical manufacturing including Drug Substance manufacturing, Drug Product manufacturing, and Final Drug Product manufacturing </li></ul></div><div>Job Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>This position will be Fully on-site out of the Thousand Oaks location </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Life Sciences </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and complete tasks in a timely manner. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Effective organizational skills and ability to plan and suggest resolutions to technical problems </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be detail-oriented, conscientious, and responsible </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must have effective verbal and written communication skills </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to learn new computer systems and programs in a timely manner </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to perform gowning operations, including donning over garment and head cover </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>May need to work in controlled or clean room environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body.
