<p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Princeton, NJ – On-site 4 days per week (Mon to Thurs)</p>

<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>
<p>In this internship, you will support the head of Development Operations &amp; Biometrics with strategic initiatives and departmental organization.&nbsp; Development Operations &amp; Biometrics is a multi-disciplinary function responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of the Kardigan clinical trial portfolio (all phases).&nbsp; This intern will work closely with senior leadership to help drive operational effectiveness, organization and execution of priority goals and initiatives.</p>
<p>This internship will offer exposure to executive-level decision-making, clinical trial operations and data strategy, and organizational design in a biotech/clinical development environment.</p>
<p>Objectives:</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the Head of DevOps &amp; Biometrics in strategic planning, departmental organization, and execution of key departmental initiatives</li>
<li>Improve organizational clarity, meeting effectiveness &amp; structure, communications, and departmental repositories/archive</li>
<li>Create structured tools, framework, and documentation for efficient department operations</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Strategic Initiative Support – assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating high-priority projects across the departmental.&nbsp; Working alongside senior leaders and functional staff</li>
<li>Support development or refinement of functional materials – charters, R&amp;R matrices, governance frameworks</li>
<li>Communication &amp; Reporting – identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and alignment across the department</li>
<li>Contribute to clinical trials through directed assignments to support clinical study leads, biostatisticians, and data management colleagues</li>
</ol>
<p>Outputs at the Conclusion of Program</p>
<ul>
<li>Portfolio of strategic project materials</li>
<li>One or more organizational artifacts – department overview, role clarity or responsibility framework</li>
<li>Executive-ready presentation or dashboard</li>
<li>Summary report of key accomplishments, insights, learnings, future improvement recommendations</li>
</ul>
<p>Learnings:</p>
<ul>
<li>Education and insight into the clinical drug development ecosystem, focused on clinical operations, biostatistics, programming, and clinical data management functions.</li>
<li>Exposure to executive leadership, strategic planning, and operational decision-making</li>
<li>Insight into how clinical development organizations scale and operate</li>
<li>Mentoring from Sr. clinical development leaders</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, at a 4-year accredited university.</li>
<li>Strong interest in clinical development, pharma operations</li>
<li>Organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to interact and network with various individuals across the organization</li>
<li>Synthesize complex information into clear concise executive level outputs</li>
<li>High Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $25 per hour&nbsp;<br><strong>Location requirement:</strong> Candidates must be based in the Princeton, NJ Area (no relocation or housing stipend is offered for this role)</p>
