Job Description
Position Summary:
The Internal Communication Senior Manager will play a key role in managing and leading key internal communication initiatives such as the company’s Annual Meeting, townhalls, and other major employee engagement programs. This position focuses on creative design and project management, developing and implementing innovative plans to ensure the smooth delivery of internal events, and creating meaningful employee engagement while effectively showcasing company strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design:
Design and implement comprehensive plans for the company’s Annual Meetings, townhalls and other key internal communication initiatives. Align initiatives with the company’s internal communication goals and strategic priorities by setting clear objectives, defining deliverables, and determining project scope in close partnership with the Internal Communication leader.
Collaborate with BU and cross-functional teams to ensure internal communication initiatives support broader company goals and clearly convey company strategic priorities.
Creative Design Execution and Copywriting:
Develop highly creative and engaging content for internal events, including visual materials, session design, and interactive elements.
Lead and manage the full creative production process from concept to execution. Work closely with creative agencies and Internal Communication team pillar owners. Oversee tasks, provide feedback, ensure high-quality content and inspiring format to the audience.
Project/People Management:
Create and manage detailed timelines for all major employee events. Break projects into tasks, assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time completion. Regularly update timelines and work closely with the Internal Communication leader to ensure alignment and progress.
Own, monitor and control project budgets. Estimate costs accurately at the start, track expenses, make cost-effective decisions, and work closely with the GP team. Ensure quality within budget.
Identify and mitigate potential risks during the planning and execution of all employee events, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.
Lead and coach internal communication team members by providing clear direction, feedback and support, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery across initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Communications, Marketing or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Communications, Marketing
Internal Comms experience is preferred, including but not limited to Annual meeting, townhall, employee events, etc.
Skills:
Fluent in English for listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Copywriting and storytelling skills are essential. Exceptional creativity, conceptual and organizational abilities.
Skilled in planning and executing large-scale internal projects, managing tasks, timelines, budgets, and resolving issues.
Proficient at collaborating with creative agencies to create highly engaging internal event content.
